MICHAEL SHEEN will play Tony Blair in a film examining his close relationship with Bill Clinton, according to reports today.

The film called The Special Relationship will pair the British actor with Dennis Quaid, who will play the former US president.

It will be the third time that Sheen, 40, has played Mr Blair. He portrayed the former prime minister in The Queen and TV film The Deal. Julianne Moore will play former first lady Hillary Clinton.

The film, which will be directed by Frost/Nixon playwright Peter Morgan, will document the political relationship between the two powerful figures.

Helen McCrory will reprise her role as Cherie Blair after starring alongside Sheen in The Queen, according to Variety magazine.

Blair did so much damage to England I really do not want to see him or any portrayols of him (unless it should him locked safely away)ever again.
