Mother meets the 999 staff who saved baby

A London mother has thanked the paramedics and pharmacist who saved her baby's life.
Yvonne Johnson-Ballantyne was in Boots in Islington when five-month-old Tynisha's heart and breathing stopped.
Pharmacist Krinal Shah called 999 and began CPR until paramedics arrived. A team from London Ambulance Service gave the baby electric shock treatment using a defibrillator, which kick-started her heart.
Doctors at Great Ormond Street hospital have now fitted a pacemaker for Tynisha, who suffers from an enlarged heart.
Mother-of-four Ms Johnson-Ballantyne, 42, from Islington, met the paramedics and said: "I can't thank the staff enough. Tynisha wouldn't be here without them."
Mr Shah said: "I've taken a course in emergency life support and my colleague relayed additional CPR advice from the ambulance call."
Motorcycle paramedic James Milligan, who was on the scene, said: "If more people learned basic life support, more people suffering cardiac arrests, young and old, would survive.'
