Prince Charles book will call for climate action

PRINCE Charles has signed a publishing deal to produce a provocative book on climate change.

Harmony will call for action on global warming and have echoes of An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore, which was made into a film.

The prince will warn how man has become “dangerously disconnected” from nature, his publishers said.

He is writing the book with former Friends of the Earth director Tony Juniper, who has questioned the commitment of celebrities including Naomi Campbell and Sienna Miller to the green cause.

His book, due out next year, explores the problems caused by a “relentless pursuit” of economic growth.

Prince Charles said: “I believe true sustainability depends on us shifting our perception so we understand, again, that we have a sacred duty of stewardship of the natural order of things.”

So Chas - got rid of your Aston DB5 have you? You know the one that does ELEVEN miles to the gallon. Or maybe you've traded your EIGHT miles per gallon Bentley Turbo's for Smart cars have you? The Bentleys you had driven 800miles across Europe to swan you about while you went to Switzerland by private jet. No?
Then perhaps you've cut your skiing trips to davos down to only four a year? Cut the heating in your mansions?
No?
So you only wnat the little people to stop using Petrol so there's more for your fleet of gas guzzlers and private aviation do you? Quit being preachy to us mere 'umble serfs then while you live in the luxury to which we pay for then.
Whats the posh term for daft great steaming hypocrite? Anyone know?

Roll on the English revolution and Republic I say. Where's Ollie Crowell when you so desperately need him.
