Struggling: Elen Rives says she is not coping after the split

Heartless Lampard refuses to take me back, says sad Elen

England and Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard was branded "heartless" today by his former fiancée, the mother of his two daughters.

Elen Rives claimed he had turned their family home into a bachelor pad and accused him of flaunting his new girlfriend in public.

The former waitress, speaking for the first time since their split last year, said her attempts at reconciliation had been snubbed, even though they have two children, Luna, three, and Isla, one.

She said: "He is so heartless. He has moved on and is seeing other girls. I text him to tell him I'm not coping but he doesn't care.

"I cry to him on the phone but I get nothing from him. No emotion, just blank. He's a bastard.

"I still love Frank. I've been crying all night. I want things to work out but don't know if they will. I don't know if he'll come round. I don't know what to do. To be honest, I'm not doing very well. He's in our house, which he has turned into a bachelor pad. And I'm in a small flat waiting for my own flat with our two daughters. The house is in his name. We're not married so I'm not getting the house."

Ms Rives, who broke off her engagement with Lampard, 30, amid claims that he had been caught cheating on her twice, said that at the age of 34 it would be difficult to "move on".

She added: "Everyone says I'm the strong one but I'm not coping. I'm 34 and old now. What am I supposed to do?

"It's too late for me, I'm old. The papers say I'm 29, but I'm 34. I don't know what I want to do now. I'm not like Coleen [Rooney], who is 23 with a great career, so I don't know how I can move on. It's so hard." Ms Rives, from Barcelona, started a relationship with Lampard in 2002, divorcing her Jordanian husband.

At the World Cup in 2006 she was hailed a "Super-WAG" after partying with Victoria Beckham, Coleen Rooney and others in the German spa town of Baden-Baden.

But at the recent England match against Ukraine it was millionaire's daughter Saskia Boxford, 23, instead of Ms Rives, who joined the WAGs at Wembley.

Lampard is selling the £8.5 million Chelsea townhouse he and Ms Rives once shared and has reportedly told friends that there is "no going back".

The couple announced their split in November, saying it was "very amicable" and no third parties were involved.

But in 2006 Lampard was alleged to have had an affair with his driver, Montserrat Lucas, and in 2007 he was photographed walking hand-in-hand with a woman at a Las Vegas hotel.

Had to love the comparison she made between herself and that other hard-working woman, Coleen Rooney. I suspect that what Elen really means is that she's too old to find another footballer to sponge off. How very, very sad.

she is still hurting from the break up guys give her a break, and yes frank is being a little insensitive if he is seeing women so soon, however a lot of men use this method as their way of 'moving on', elen probably gave frank an ultimatum which he did not take up, thats why she had to leave. in time she will see that her life is not over. she probaly feels rejected and lets not forget she has two little girls to worry about. Hopefully both she and frank come to some kind of agreement. I know how she feels as i have been there - although my kids dad was a poor as a churchmouse, so at least elen can rest assured she will not have any financial worries.

What a moaning old trout. Lets face it, she wouldn't have been interested in Fat Frank if it wasn't for his money. Sad old boot should get a life.

Is she kidding?? there are plenty of single mums in the world that don't have half of what she has. This woman needs to grow up, move on.
Gandy is right, welcome to the real world. Does she really think calling his a b****** in the national press is going make him want to come back to her??

I'm not surprised he won't take her back. Nobody likes a clingy whining woman!
She dumped him, just like she dumped her former hubbie! get a life elen.

Alix - "Don't live off others unless you are prepared to put up with everything they dish out"

What is the difference between the fiancee of a footballer who chooses not to work while bringing up their ONE and THREE year olds, and the partner of any other man, other than level of income? If your sister or cousin or nextdoor neighbour was left in the lurch by the father of her children would you still say she had to "put up with everything that was dished out"? I suspect not, unless you simply hate women of course?

I can't really add anything to the rest of the comments; I was laughing to much to think of anything at all.

But Frank is playing better than ever; and I think he has more energy now for football.

Some of the comments posted here seem incredibly spiteful, considering the woman is apparently the injured party. I can't help wondering if you'd all be a little more sympathetic if she looked more like, say, Susan Boyle?

It takes two for a relationship and he has made it pretty clear he is not interested. But he still needs to pay support for the kids to keep them in the same lifestyle that they are used to.Relationships end,but kids are for life.

As a WAG surely you're supposed to get your hands on the house / cash asap? Anyway, all is not lost. Go and see Max Clifford and tell him you want to write a tell-all book about Frank Lampard. Quick though as Fat Frankie hasn't got that long left at the top himself!

As long as he supports his children and is there for them in person that is all that matters. I am sure some other unsuspecting guy will come along and take care of her at some point

She should try getting a job.

Unfortunately, trying to get pregnant by a footballer is not classed as a skill.

Back to waiting tables.

Oh dear - she had a career to begin with? Good WAG life lesson sweetie - if you're going down that road, make him marry you before you pop out the kids, at least that way you can take him to the cleaners legally, rather than count on his generosity towards his children and hope it's enough to keep you shopping at Harrods. I didn't realise 34 was old, but hey - I guess to WAGs age is directly proportionate to how many cosmetic procedures you have because you need them to maintain your fake breasts, lipo'd thighs/stomach, restalyned lips and mannequin forehead, as opposed to the ones you have because you're stupid and have too much of your man's money to spend.

If you feel bad as a 'young' adult, just stop and think how the 'children' feel, having been mentally 'abused' by this selfish, deliberate, cruel and heartbreaking
'split' and 'desertion'.

Confusion, breach of trust, loss of self esteem, depression, emptiness, silent weeping, bed wetting, and permanent diminution of achievement.
And that's just Frank!

Oh please, what's with all the fake sniveling? She walked out on him! Just as she walked on her 'nobody' husband to be with a rich and famous man. The only thing she's now missing is the lifestyle.

I don't like Lampard one jot, but he has every right not to take back someone who dumped him.

As for 'not knowing what to do' she won't have to 'do' anything - she'll still get an expensive house and lots of money for having had his kids, married or not - it just won't be as much as she's grown used to enjoying, nor will it come with a gaggle of press photographers and adulating attention...
