Olympic sprint champion Usain Bolt has been treated in hospital after a car crash in Jamaica.

The 100 and 200-metre world record holder had minor injuries after his BMW M3 skidded off the road into a ditch.

Jamaican police said the athlete could have been speeding on the wet highway when he lost control.

Bolt, 22, is due to run in the 100m at the London Grand Prix in July.
