July 1999: Eight-year-old Victoria Climbié begins to suffer abuse by her great aunt Marie-Therese Kouao and boyfriend Carl Manning, in Tottenham
July 1999 - February 2000: Victoria seen by social workers, doctors and police
24 February 2000: Victoria taken to North Middlesex Hospital with malnutrition and hypothermia. She dies the next day
February 2000: Home Office pathologist Dr Nathaniel Carey finds 128 separate injuries. He calls it the “worst case of child abuse” he has seen
November 2000: Manning and Kouao go on trial for murder. Prosecution brands authorities “blindingly incompetent”
January 2001: Manning and Kouao are found guilty of Victoria's murder
January 2003: Lord Laming publishes 108 recommendations to improve child protection after public inquiry
2004: The little girl who was alleged victim of the sex attack is born
1 March 2006: Baby P is born. He lives with his father and mother in Haringey
June 2006: Baby P's mother meets new partner. Her husband soon moves out
March 2006-August 2007: Baby P is seen 60 times by social workers, health visitors, doctors and the police.
November/December 2006: Her boyfriend moves in to Baby P's home
15 December 2006: Police investigation into alleged assault on Baby P begins
19 December 2006: Baby P's mother and grandmother arrested and bailed
2006: Little girl placed on child protection register for neglect
2 February 2007: Maria Ward allocated as Baby P's social worker
18 February 2007: Baby P, mother and boyfriend move to Haringey
2007: The sex attack on the little girl is alleged to have taken place
13 March 2007: Social worker Maria Ward alerted by Baby P's father that mother is living with new boyfriend
5 June: Mother arrested and bailed again over new Baby P assault claims
1 August: Baby P seen at St Ann's Hospital by locum Sabah Al Zayyat. Fails to spot fractured ribs and a broken back
2 August: Baby P's mother told police will take no action over allegations
3 August 2007: Baby P taken to hospital and is pronounced dead. His mother is arrested shortly afterwards
2 October 2007: The little girl makes her first allegation
11 November 2008: Boyfriend and lodger are found guilty of causing Baby P's death. Mother had pleaded guilty
11 November 2008: director of children's services for Haringey council Sharon Shoesmith refuses to apologise or resign over Baby P case
1 December 2008: Children's Secretary Ed Balls removes Ms Shoesmith from her post. Council leader George Meehan and cabinet member for children and young people, Liz Santry, resign
8 December 2008: Haringey dismisses Ms Shoesmith “with immediate effect”
March 2009: Lord Laming makes 58 new recommendations. He says lessons of Victoria Climbié have not been learned
April 2009: Trial over the little girl starts at the Old Bailey
29 April 2009: Social worker and three managers sacked by Haringey over Baby P
1 May 2009: Baby P's mother is cleared of new child abuse charges. Her boyfriend is found guilty of raping the two-year-old girl

Haringey is they epitome of the loony left liberals -There is a difference between abject dysfunction and freethinking that they seem to gravely misunderstand. At least it's out in the open now.
