EuroMillions jackpot hits £110m

5 May 2009

An estimated £110 million is up for grabs in this Friday's EuroMillions lottery jackpot.

If one person matches all seven numbers they will become the UK's biggest lottery winner.

The highest single win currently stands at £35.4 million.

A National Lottery spokeswoman said: "We know players love a big jackpot and £110 million is positively huge.

"Our retailers are ready to ensure everyone has a chance to win this massive prize, so make sure you get your ticket before 7.30pm on Friday evening.

"This draw will raise even more money for good causes up and down the country as well as creating even more lucky UK winners."

I wonder if our brilliant Chancellor has a ticket - after
all he needs all the money he can get!

If I win, I'll be out of this sinking(stinking?) ship
called Britain that New Liebour have created.

With Brown's* economic genius in charge of the Treasury Frank, a jackpot of £110m and odds of 76m-1, I reckon they've put a couple of billion into it. Sound financial planning...

*And I know Darling holds the title of Chancellor, but I think we all know Brown still pulls the strings...

I've got my ticket.

It may be seventy-six million to one, but it could still be me!

(If I win I'll send you guys at the Standard a postcard...)
