An investigation into a two-vehicle crash involving an unmarked Met police car, which claimed the life of a woman driver, is to be managed by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
The 29-year-old woman, who has not been named, was declared dead at the scene on the A21 near Tunbridge Wells at about 12.30pm on Tuesday. It is believed the police Skoda had its sirens on.

Maybe chasing a criminal from london?
Or maybe for the ssame reason you see met police in scotland.
Dont worry, tax is tax at the end of the day. All comes from somewhere.
Bit of compassion for the victim, and the officers involved?

What was an unmarked met police vehicle doing answering a 999 call down near Tonbridge. I live in london and pay my council tax for them to police the streets where I live. I did not think I was paying for them to police Kent as well.
