The model behind the new traffic-stopping Marks and Spencer bra advert was today unveiled as Londoner Natalie Suliman.

The new campaign - which shows a voluptuous woman wearing a green silk bra - has echoes of the famous “Hello Boys” billboard featuring supermodel Eva Herzigova in the Nineties.

Not only has it seen sales of the bras go through the roof - but M&S has been inundated with calls to find out who the model is.

Today, Miss Suliman, 23, from Islington, said she “nearly crashed the car” herself when she first saw her 32E chest on the billboard.

“I was happily driving to a shopping mall with my music blasting when I suddenly saw a 20ft picture of my chest on the horizon,” she said. “It was shocking to see my boobs looking so huge, but I guess that's not something I can complain about. I'm just happy the advert has been such a success.”

According to M&S, online orders of the underwear shot up 163 per cent after the ad was launched and helped triple sales of bras.

Miss Suliman, who was a youth worker before becoming a model, was talent spotted two years ago while swimming in a bikini in a public pool in Islington.

She said she never puts any weight on her size eight figure despite eating “man-sized portions” compared to other models - adding if she does, she is happy because it all goes to her chest.

Miss Suliman, who is 5ft8 and a size eight, added that the M&S photographer loved her skin tone, which she inherited from her Sudanese mother Layla.

She said: “[He] didn't even want me to apply any fake tan or moisturiser. A lot of people also ask if my boobs have been given a secret lift for the pictures, but I can assure you that they have not. What you see is all real.”

She said she now hopes to go to America and model for a Victoria's
