Search for driver in hit-run cycle death

Colleagues of a cyclist crushed by a lorry are tonight handing out leaflets near where she was killed to find information about the hit-and-run driver.

Adrianna Skrzypiec, 31, who worked for fashion website Net-A-Porter, died at the junction of Woolwich Road and the A102 in Greenwich. The driver of the lorry sped off without stopping after knocking her down as she cycled to visit a friend after work on Friday 15 May.

Polish-born Ms Skrzypiec, known as Adusia, became the fifth cyclist to be killed by a lorry in London this year.

Appeals by police and her boyfriend Tomasz Koziolek, 37, have failed to persuade the driver to come forward.

Only a handful of witnesses have emerged, none of whom can identify the lorry. Mr Koziolek, who lived with Ms Skrzypiec in Rotherhithe, said the lack of information was making it harder to deal with her death.

More than 30 of her friends at Net-A-Porter have offered to hand out flyers seeking information. Anyone with information should call investigators on 020 8285 1574.
