Fears for boy who vanished after operation

POLICE were today searching for a 15-year-old boy who vanished after an operation to remove his appendix.
Concern was growing for the health of Zakaria Satiri, who can speak little English. He has not been seen since he disappeared from his home in Coombe Road, Croydon, on Wednesday evening shortly after being discharged from hospital.
A police spokesman said: "He is described as an Arabic male, approximately 5ft 5ins, of slim build and with short black hair with lighter strands at the front.
"He has significant scarring on his left arm. Zakaria was wearing white and turquoise Nike trainers, blue jeans, a black and red top with a DG logo and a blue Nike jacket. He also took with him a blue pair of pyjama bottoms."
