The two surviving Beatles have announced they are putting their first song online.
Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will make All You Need is Love available in September to owners of Microsoft's Xbox 360 console.
It will be the first time any Beatles music has been legally sold on the web, and proceeds will be donated to aid-charity Doctors Without Borders.
It is expected that all Beatles recordings will be available online eventually, a deal which will make Starr and McCartney millions.
Experts say it could even lead to the Beatles songs dominating the entire Top 10, such is the demand for digital versions of their hits.
The announcement by Sir Paul and Ringo, made at a press conference in Los Angeles to launch a computer game based on the band, was also attended by Yoko Ono and OIivia Harrison, widows of the other Beatles John Lennon and George Harrison.

Fantastic, but they really shouldn't have waited so long. Took me ages to upload my CD's to my iPod.

Ethan..Ethan....(tsk tsk), you need to stop YOUR whining because it really shows your ignorance, immaturity, and bad taste. Please stop while you're behind.

Surely the song is second hand by now; more suited to Charity Shops.

Keith,
Yoko One was there so I think she was included on the decision making. Besides which all Beatles compositions were written under the Lennon-McCarthney title to avoid such questions as yours. They said it would be too complicated to decide each member's input and they were all in it together.

As it is a John Lennon composition thry should really have let Yoko Lennon decide for herself if she wanted it released.
