Personal life: Recently split from partner Terri Seymour after six years.
Party lifestyle: Frequent diner at The Ivy. Has also been spotted at Stringfellows and the Electric Birdcage.
Business interests: With Pop Idol, The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent, Cowell has confirmed his status as ITV's biggest star name. Has been tied to ITV in a three-year “golden handcuffs” deal worth about £20 million. An even bigger star in the US where he will be a judge on American Idol until 2010, earning a reported £20 million per series. His US hit, America's Got Talent, has been sold to 80 countries. Cowell earlier worked in the music industry, with artists such as Sinitta and Westlife.
