Jacko's doctor claims shot of Demerol given by aide killed pop star

Michael Jackson killed by Demerol shot given by aide, doctor claims

Michael Jackson's personal doctor has claimed he was killed when his aide gave him a shot of the painkiller Demerol.

Dr Conrad Murray is believed to have told police he was asleep when the singer received the fatal dose.

He said he woke to find the 50-year-old dead and desperately tried to revive him.

The cardiologist is reported to have told police that he had already given Jackson the surgical anaesthetic Propofol- also known as Diprivan - on the day he died but that the star had woken when the effects wore off and demanded more pain relief.

An aide then administered the second drug and the combination of the two triggered a massive heart attack.

Jackson is thought to have first taken Demerol to control the pain of burns to his scalp he suffered filming a Pepsi advert.

Propofol - which should only be given in a hospital environment - can be delivered by an intravenous drip to release a steady supply.

There should always be equipment available to monitor the electrical impulses of the patient's heart and the level of oxygen in their blood supply when they take the drug.

An ECG would trigger an alarm if the patient flatlined, while a pulse oximeter would sound if oxygen supplies changed.

Neither device was found by detectives when they searched Jackson's rented Holmby Hills mansion following his death.

Dr Murray's lawyer Ed Chernoff has always maintained that his client denies giving Jacko anything that killed him.

We only have the quack's word for everything. Please people, stop speculating. All we have so far are rumours rumours rumours. Wait until FACTS are known. Even IF, allegedly, Michael asked for medication, it doesn't mean the quack should administer anything. Murray is ultimately responsible for his patient but due to his arrogance, incompetence and negligence, he's killed a person. Blood on his hands for sure.

Why don"t all the sad fans of Michael Jackson look at his sordid lifestyle,he had done nothing for 20yrs except take drugs and not allow his poor children to live a normal life, they had to live a Michael Jackson life away from reality, hidden from public view,of course they loved him there was nobody else in their lives, would you cover your childrens head every time you took them out? That would be classed as cruelty to children in this country.A lot more will come out about his sick lifestyle as stated"whatever Jackson wanted Jackson got"even if he fired everyone around him.

I feel so SAD for MJ as MJ was a victim of just everything: his abusive father, bad media about him, the pepsi commercial, child abuse claim.... and the final act of his irresponsible personal doctor. I cannot start to think how he could cope with so much pain and could still write such beautiful music and choreographed beautiful dance routine for us to enjoy.
MJ will be remembered forever by generations !!!

MJ is gone, people should wake up and face the reality intead of looking for someone as a scapegoat in the likes if Dr Conrad.I bet MJ is in a cool paradise laughing at the whole saga surrounding his death. And by the way no one should label Dr. Conrad a killer untill proven at the law court.

Startling similarities, it seems, with the recent revelations and recollections of the Hendrix 'drowning' 'suicide' in a London[?] apartment some 40 years ago.

Another quasi addictive/reclusive/concealed/untimely sudden death linked by highly suspicious motives of foul play concerning a member(s) of his 'entourage'.
A terrible tragedy.

The ultimate blame lies with Michael Jackson, if he had not demanded the drugs, NO doctor, Aide or Person on earth would have given it to him. Yes the doctors could have said NO, so should Michael Jackson. He had a great life and died in a blaze of glory, we all should be so lucky - Its time to put MJ to rest and get on with our own lives.

I don't think Dr Murray is telling the truth. Now he is trying to come up with an excuse saying that an aide administered the second drug. He is trying to push the blame to another person when he himself is the one who gave Michael Jackson that lethal drug. Does Murray have any conscience at all? Does he have any ethics?

Did anybody wonder why Dr Murray was hired to be MJ's personal doctor for the concert tour? In fact, Murray is just a cardiologist. Why would MJ want a cardiologist by his side? Did MJ have heart problem? I doubt so. Could it be because Murray was able to supply and let him have that lethal drug (when all other doctors refused to let MJ have that drug?) A responsible and ethical doctor wouldn't give that lethal drug in a person's home with no proper life-saving equipment. In fact such a drug shouldn't be given at all at home. Murray must have told MJ that oxygen tanks would suffice and must have assured MJ that he would monitor MJ well while MJ was asleep. But the IV bag was empty. That means all that drug had flowed into MJ's veins and that led to overdose. Murray was supposed to control and cut off supply of that drug at the right time. But Murray must have slept and forgot to cut off the IV drip supply.

Indeed, how could such a doctor allow MJ to have that drug? Murray was in debt and thus so willingly gave that drug to MJ, so that he would be paid handsomely to pay off debts.

It's a sad tragedy for Michael Jackson. I feel that MJ is a good man.

That's not what is says Betty-read it again !! I think this man's names has been dragged through the mud. Even if he is innocent (which looks likely to me) then he will be remembered for the rest of his life for this and nothing else.
