Facelift surgery which left patient ‘dog-eared’ is ruled inappropriate

A facelift to cure a double chin which left a woman with “dog-eared” flaps of skin was inappropriate, a hearing ruled today.
Harley Street cosmetic surgeon Armando Cason made an excessive cut and removed too much fat from Shirley Hills's neck during the operation.
His technique was “not standard practice” or in the best interests of the patient, the General Medical Council decided. Mr Cason was a private cosmetic surgeon at the Pountney Clinic at Highgate Hospital between 1984 and 2007 and held consultations in Harley Street. He later emigrated to America.
Mr Cason performed the £5,600 operation on Mrs Hills on 8 March. Mrs Hills said she was shocked by the result: “I was quite horrified really.”
Mr Cason was found guilty of eight charges over the operation. The GMC will now decide whether they amount to misconduct. He denied the charges from his home in Massachusetts.

All kinds of condemnation BEFORE the findings. Now that the result is official, and it is known for certain that they guy went too far, the commenters are not finding it worth commenting anymore? Weird! They must be in a state of shock that they actually were right this time.
As I said before, the hearings were to decide on his competence, one way or another. They have done so. It'll be interesting to see what happens now.
