Jackson's last resting place 'is secret plot'

Michael Jackson has been buried in an unmarked plot at a sprawling Los Angeles cemetery, according to reports in the US.

The singer is believed to have been laid to rest after a small private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, thought to be near the grave of his grandmother Martha Bridges, who died in 1990.

Jackson's family have kept the plot's location a secret so it does not become a focus for grieving fans. A source at the cemetery said: "Michael has already been laid to rest but other than the Jackson family and the management at Forest Lawn no one knows the exact spot.

"Staff at the cemetery have been fed several different locations - it's as if they're hoping to confuse everyone."

The source added: "The fear is that thousands of Jackson fans will descend on the cemetery and create a security issue or maybe even damage or deface the grave."

Jackson's brain had been removed for toxicology tests but was returned to the body for the burial.

I sincerely hope that the man can now finally rest in peace. He was given no peace when alive so it's hoped that, at last, he is now at rest. RIP Michael. Greatly loved and greatly missed. Always.
