The son of dance music star Goldie is accused of killing a disabled gang member by stabbing him through the heart.

Jamie Price, 22, who is also known as Goldie, is alleged to have stabbed Marlon Morris, 21, in Wolverhampton during a clash between two gangs on 24August last year.

Price allegedly fled after the attack and later told a friend he had "done something bad".

Mr Morris, whose left arm was disabled in a 2007 motorbike accident, was stabbed in the back and three times in his body, penetrating his heart and liver.

He was known to be a member of a gang from Pendeford, Wolverhampton, while Price was part of the Fire Town gang.

Mr Morris and his friends were in the city centre on a night out in a Volkswagen Bora taxi. CCTV cameras captured a group of men pursuing a friend of Price, who got into a Renault Clio.

After the stabbing, Mr Morris was still conscious and asked a friend in the taxi to take him to hospital, where he died.

Price allegedly travelled to his friend, in Willenhall. Price, of Heath Town, Wolverhampton, denies murder.

The trial continues.
