Rail crash driver’s brother dies in fall

The brother of a train driver killed in the Paddington rail disaster has died falling from a hotel balcony in Egypt.
Father-of-four Alan Hodder, 42, tumbled 12 feet while on holiday with his girlfriend in Sharm-el-Sheikh.
It is believed the self-employed builder from Tilehurst, Berkshire, had been drinking before the accident.
October will mark the 10th anniversary of the Paddington rail disaster, in which Alan's younger brother Michael, 31, died.
He was at the controls of the Thames Trains commuter service which collided with a Great Western express, killing 31 people.
