200,000 swine flu vaccine doses arrive in Britain

The first batch of swine flu vaccine has arrived in Britain. The Government confirmed today it had received about 200,000 doses from drug company Baxter.
The news came as three new deaths from the virus were confirmed in England, bringing the total number of fatalities to 57 since the start of the outbreak.
London has seen the highest number of deaths.
Chief Medical Officer Sir Liam Donaldson said today it was “beyond doubt” the outbreak had peaked, with a drop to 5,000 new cases over the past week.

The British gogernment has displayed a knee-jerk reaction to this so-called pandemic from the very beginning. Swine flu is no worse than the usual annual flu bouts that go around. Stockpiling vaccine in this way is quite unnecessary.
