Gordon Ramsay's kitchen nightmare is over

A restaurant that collapsed after appearing on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares TV show is to be brought back to life.

Momma Cherri's in Brighton, which was supposed to be "saved" by the celebrity chef in 2005, will reopen next month, Friday to Sunday, as a speakeasy-style eaterie.

The soul food restaurant was closed by administrators last month and chef Charita Jones, 54, who had a cookery book published after appearing on Kitchen Nightmares, had to sign on to the dole.

Brighton businessman Terry King has agreed to let Mrs Jones use an empty property to relaunch the restaurant.
