A man has been banned from every rooftop in London in a crackdown on radio piracy.

Kieran O'Sullivan, 26, admitted installing pirate radio equipment on a tower block in Camden after being prosecuted by media watchdog Ofcom. It is believed to be the first time an Asbo has been used to keep a criminal off roofs.O'Sullivan, from Enfield, also received an 18-week jail sentence suspended for a year, a three-month curfew, a £1,200 fine and had radio equipment confiscated.

The prosecution was supported by Camden council and the police.

Chief Inspector Louis Smith of Camden police said: "Banning this man from rooftops gives a long-term means of controlling his anti-social behaviour."
