58 shot dead at Guinea stadium

At least 58 people were killed when security forces in Guinea opened fire on thousands of protesters, opposed to military ruler Captain Moussa Dadis Camara, who tried to hold a rally in a sports stadium in the capital Conakry.

The simple fact that a "Captain" can lead a military coup in the first place speaks volumes of the stability of the country at all. Somehow I'm not surprised that such death-dealing can take place in such circumstances.
