Actress Kelly Brook and former Coronation Street star Julie Goodyear will strip off in the hit West End play Calendar Girls.

Former newsreader Jan Leeming and another former Corrie actor, Rob James Collier, will also join the new cast.

They will team up with comedians Helen Lederer and Arabella Weir, known for asking: "Does my bum look big in this?" and Doctor Who regular Debbie Chazen.

Goodyear played beehive hairdo-wearing landlady Bet Lynch in Coronation Street for more than a quarter of a century, while Collier's character in the soap was murder victim Liam Connor.

Collier, who has picked up numerous "sexiest male" awards, will play photographer Lawrence.

Goodyear will star as Cora - Miss July. She left Corrie in 1995 and has since made some fleeting comebacks to the soap.

Both Coronation Street actors are making their London stage debuts.

Brook will become Celia - Miss September. The actress has stripped off on stage before, playing an exotic dancer in a play called Eye Contact.

Olivier award-winning actress Janie Dee will play Annie - Miss February and Lederer becomes Marie, leader of the Yorkshire branch of the WI and Chazen takes on the role of Ruth.

Weir will unclothe as Chris - Miss October, and Jan Leeming, who took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2006 will play Lady Cravenshire.

The new cast are performing at London's Noel Coward Theatre for 10 weeks from November 3 to January 9.
