Police officers accused of racist abuse

Two police officers accused of racially abusing a group of men in a street confrontation will appear in court today.
Pc Mark Jones, 42, and Pc Neil Brown, 33, of the Metropolitan Police, are charged in connection with an incident in Paddington, central London.
Pc Jones also faces two charges of racially-aggravated assault during the alleged row in June last year.
The pair, along with Sgt William Wilson, 52, Pc Steven White, 31, Pc Giles Kitchener, 31, and Pc Simon Prout, 33, are also charged with misfeasance in public office.
All six men, members of the force's Territorial Support Group, will appear at Kingston Crown Court, in south west London.
They were summonsed after the results of an Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) investigation were passed to the Crown Prosecution Service.
