It is interesting reading the above comments.

Living in Leicester, i am concerned that by next year i will become an ethnic minority. I am a Brtish, middle aged, white, working class women. Leicester is predicted to become the first City in Europe where the white population will become the minority.

Will i get the same opportunities that the 'ethnic' groups get when i become the minority? Somehow i don't think so. If i was to join a 'white only' group, i'd still be accused of being racist.

In my eyes, the BNP are far to extreme, but there's no avoiding the fact that they are growing in numbers. I predict that there will be more political parties forming, that will have the same views but will try to protect the British people.

Ethnic groups exist only because their members are in the minority. Thats the point. MINORITY. Its not reasonable to say "well I can't have a whites only club" because whites are not a minority, white people benefit from the very fact of their whiteness so there is no need for it.

If the BNP ever become a significant political force, this country can expect a massive decline in inward investment - not just from Indian, Chinese and the Arab state's national funds but from European and American corporations too.

If you think we are in difficult economic times now, just wait until that happens. This country will become a pariah and far from taking us out of the EU, we will be literally begging to be allowed into the Eurozone because the Pound Sterling will be worthless. Every problem we face now would be magnified a hundred-fold.

Until BNP supporters start to see the light, they will be ridiculed and challenged on all sides because it's a case of simple economic survival. Not one expert on economic policy backs the BNP's ideas - why do you think that is; because the whole world is picking on white people?

Some of the opinions of my black and asian friends and workmates,would get Nick Griffin thrown in the Tower.
When my mate,Ash,a British citizen of Indian origin voiced an outrageous sentiment about another ethnic group,I said,"you can't say that".He replied,"You can't say that,but I can!".
I know young black,mixed race and asian people,who complain that they cannot get council housing,but new arrivals can.
An eatern european lad I know,got here in '97 and was given a nice flat in Brixton.Good luck to him,but can you blame anyone for getting the hump?

If you read the 1st paragraph - "The BNP will be forced to admit black and Asian members after a legal victory for the Government's Equality and Human Rights Commission". The article states they were forced to comply with a court order.

Yawn, that old chestnut. Gloucestershire BPA is part of the National Black Police Association who state categorically that "The NBPA is open to all in policing on application, there is no bar to membership based on colour." Try again.

Here's a clue: It is illegal to discriminate against anyone on grounds of race, colour, nationality or ethnic origins or on grounds of their religion or philosophical beliefs. It's the law.

Public funding for groups and organizations that only promote minorities like operation black vote will also be eliminated under the new laws expected to be rolled out next year. B Gare of Norfolk your comments and other comments like yours betray a worrying incapacity to reason. To find some kind of moral equilvalence between the BNP and so called 'black organizations' is simplistic and diverting. It is a shame that these organizations have to exist, but many have originated to address the real disadvantages that many black people face, in the workplace and society. Until you can empathise with the experience of being a minority or facing predjudice or discrimination then you will not understand the need for minorities to identify with and support one another. I think you will find that when the issues of acceptance and full integration have been fully resolved these 'talking shops' and support groups will cease to exist.

It appears that the BNP requires that Britain should withdraw from EU before officially loses its status and is changed into 12 Regional Assemblies.
Since it will be illegal for any Political Party to warant this after the next General Election.
Should this be in the party political manifistos so that the general public know what is at stake and the true price of their votes?

"Westway is a black-led, community-based, housing association based in West London"

"By giving opportunities to black and minority ethnic communities to participate fully in the provision of social housing in their local community"

Here`s a start. Gloucestershire BPA.

Full membership Open to all black Police Officers, Civilian Support Staff and Special Constables directly employed by the Gloucestershire Constabulary.
Associate Membership Open to all Police Civilian Support Staff and Special Constables who are directly employed by Gloucestershire Constabulary, but ineligible for full membership.

You cannot join as a full member if you are white. Plenty of others in the same vain. They are not difficult to find. Told by a black police officers about membership to the BPA it was only about black police officers. It existed solely for black police offciers and it had no interest in the welfare etc of white police officers. The police federation is there to represent ALL officers regardless of race creed etc so why not let them get on with it and we should not have these devisive black orgainizations which have had their day and are now doing more harm than good to integration in this country. It just spawns a them and us culture.

W G Read and B Gare, correct me if I'm wrong but there aren't any Black exclusive political parties or organisations in the UK so stop your whinging and lose the chip on your shoulder. There has always been and always will be a disadvantaged white working class. You can't blame ethnic minorities for that - which is what the vile and treasonous BNP are doing. The solution is not to blame your Black or Asian brothers many of whom are also disproportionately economically disadvantaged but to do what any aspirational person does. Study hard, work hard and improve your standard of living. Only the ignorant, sad and inadequate would vote for those racist facists! They are the White Taliban, spreading hate and preaching harm to those not like them. But I would love to see a few brave Black and Asian people cause mischief by joining those gangsters and exposing their thuggery!

Having these black organizations is devisive and does nothing to enhance race relations. We now regard ourselves as an inclusive society and the BNP will only make political capital out of this case unless similar action is taken against black organizations whose only purpose in life is to look after the interests of blacks. The commission and the politicians will only have themselves to blame for the backlash if they stop here and the Secretary of State for Community Affairs yesterday could not understand why the white working class in this country feel they are being unfairly treated. Look no further then this.
