Vatican supports call to teach Islam

The Vatican has surprisingly welcomed a proposal to teach Islam in Italian schools.
Adolfo Urso, an ally of prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, said the subject should be taught for an hour a week to "avoid Muslim youngsters being drawn to the ghettos of madrasse (Islamic schools) run by fundamentalists" and was backed by deputy prime minister Gianfranco Fini.
Cardinal Renato Martino, of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, said: "This would avoid radicalism and should be considered - obviously with some form of control."
But the proposal rocked Fini's Right-wing coalition and was slammed by the anti-immigration Northern League.

If I recall correctly, Martini is a big buddy with Benedict, and reflects his mind to the public well. We see here that the corruption and temporization in the Catholic Church goes right up to the top, to the point where they encourage the teaching of a false and brutal cult to all publically educated children. I wish they'd be so worried about Catholic catechesis, which is an utter mess. They have totally lost faith in the truth of their religion, and to them, it's just a system of obtaining and holding power. Would the Muslims ever do such a thing? The jig is up, because Rome with be Muslim in thirty years. It is a simple matter of demographics, and the fact that the native population doesn't hold to the faith anymore and aren't having children.
This convinces me that the Catholic faith is entering a new dark age. Unfortunately, due to scandal and corruption, it is most richly deserved.

Well, it would be good if only the Truth about Islam and Mad Muhammad is taught not only in Italy but every single non-muslim country. Everybody has the right to know what a mad monster Muhammad the Prophet of Islam was..

Someone needs to check the Pope and his staff for dementia! It's time for that dhimmi to step down so a pope who will uphold Christianity and the Roman Catholic Church can take his place.
