White House: We control the press

The feud between the White House and Fox News intensified today after the channel found a video in which President Obama's communications director Anita Dunn says of his election campaign: "Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything we didn't absolutely control."

Ms Dunn has said the station is more like a "wing of the Republican Party" than a news organisation.

His election will only drive a wedge between communities. He has already attacked a white police officer for simply doing his job.
