One of the first films shot on the Underground has a new premiere at the London Film Festival tonight.

The original print of Underground, from 1928, was deteriorating when it was given to the British Film Institute in 1948 but it has been restored using a copy in Brussels. The story of love and murder, directed by Anthony Asquith, screens at the Queen Elizabeth Hall at 7.30pm.
