New play with a provocative title has become the second show in a row to sell out before opening at the Royal Court.

All tickets for Cock by Mike Bartlett in the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs have been snapped up.

Brideshead Revisited actor Ben Whishaw stars as John, the central character who takes a break from his boyfriend, played by Andrew Scott, and accidentally meets the girl of his dreams.

The show is only suitable for theatregoers aged 16 and over.

The theatre's current show, Enron by Lucy Prebble, sold out the main house before opening. Cock is on from 13 November to 19 December.
