Eurostar trains hit by Belgium strike action

Eurostar will be unable to operate any services between Britain and Brussels on Thursday because of industrial action in Belgium.
There will be a 24-hour general strike in Belgium from 10pm local time tomorrow (9pm British time).
This means there will be no rail services operating between Lille in France and Brussels Midi station.
A Eurostar spokesman advised passengers travelling between the UK and Brussels and to onward destinations in Belgium, Germany and Holland to change their travel plans and exchange
their tickets for alternative dates.
Passengers can also obtain refunds by contacting their original point of sale.
The spokesman added: “For passengers travelling between the UK and Lille there will be a modified timetable operating on Thursday.”
