American Lingerie chain Victoria's Secret plan to open in London

Victoria's Secret reveals plan for London store

American lingerie chain Victoria's Secret plans to open its first big British store in central London.

The retailer, known for its "angels" models including Karolina Kurkova, below, has a small outlet at Heathrow's Terminal Five. The only other way to buy Victoria's Secret bras, knickers and cosmetics is through its US website. However, a senior executive at the chain's parent firm, Limited Brands International, said it was looking for sites in London and other European cities.

They should at least open a shop in London; but better all over Europe. At least in Germany women would flood into the shop. The best location would be in Duesseldorf or Bielefeld!!! I would be a weekly guest (and buy!!!). ;)

Any idea when this store may open? or is it all just chat from Victoria's secret? They would be crazy not to open a shop in London. Reputation is already firmly fixed, all they would have to do is open their doors and the people would come flooding in!!

Sounds great! As an American firm in London, I wonder which word they will use here - knickers or panties?

I live the brand everyday to the point that my friends all know me for the products. I wish there was a store in London as I have such passion for all the products I would at the drop of a hat apply to work there and help to increase sales!
