A woman allegedly beaten by a police sergeant hiding his ID number today called Met plans to destroy photographs of officers "disgusting".
Campaigner Nicola Fisher, 35, pictured, was allegedly hit by Sgt Delroy Smellie at a vigil on 2 April for Ian Tomlinson, who died the day before at the G20 protests.
Sgt Smellie, from the Territorial Support Group, was allegedly photographed hitting Ms Fisher across the legs with a metal baton.
Ms Fisher said of the "culling" of photographs: "I'm disgusted. It is sinister and will be more damaging to them in the long run.
"There are court cases, and they are potentially destroying evidence."
Sgt Smellie will appear before Westminster magistrates on 16 November charged with assault.

She obviously can't move on as she has nothing else going on in her life. That demonstration seems like years ago now. That's what working does to you.

Is demonstrating "looking for trouble" ???
Are the public not allowed to demonstate in your view?
Should we blindly accept the rights we are "given" and shut up when we dont like it?
Should we do as were told and shut up when told?
You sound like those being taken to court, by any chance are you a police officer?!
Try to remember: Regardless of the person in the photgraph, They serve us! Not the other way round! its why they are described as "Serving Police Officers".
