Colombia protests at Chavez war talk
9 Nov 2009Colombia says it will appeal to the UN Security Council and the Organisation of American States after Venezuela's president Hugo Chavez ordered his army to prepare for war in order to assure peace.
Chavez has said that a military cooperation pact signed last month between Bogota and America could set the stage for a US invasion of Venezuela.
Colombia called for "frank dialogue" over their diplomatic spat.
