Arsenal playboy striker's romance with former Fleming wife

ON the field, Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is most known for his pink boots and occasionally headstrong moments, while off duty he has a reputation as something of a playboy.

But now, Bendtner, 21, might well have met his match ... a wealthy Danish socialite 13 years his senior.

Caroline Luel-Brockdorff, 34, and Bendtner met when he was a guest on a television reality show about her renovating her family seat, Valdemars Castle.

Bendtner took part in a photoshoot with Miss Luel-Brockdorff, a former model and the daughter of a Danish baroness, to publicise his appearance on her show.

She was awarded a reported multi-million pound divorce settlement from her former husband, Rory Fleming.

He is a cousin of the late Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, whose family own a private investment bank.

Dubbed "the TV baroness", Miss Luel-Brockdorff is now based in London. She and Bendtner are reported to have been spotted enjoying a stroll together in Hyde Park, when the Danish international was seen gently displaying his footballing skills in a kickabout with her children Alexander, six, and Josephine, three.

Bendtner, who was voted Danish Player of the Year this week, has a reputation at Arsenal for a fiery temper since an altercation with then team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor during a Carling Cup semi-final defeat at Spurs last year.

Viewers of Miss Luel-Brockdorff's reality show have described her as "brash and spoiled".
