Indian Maoists blow up train
20 Nov 2009A passenger train derailed after Maoist rebels blew up a Calcutta-to-Mumbai line in Jharkhand state, east India, killing a woman and injuring at least 30 people, five critically.
Thousands have died during a 30-year campaign to win land and jobs for the poor.
The rebels have called a 24-hour strike today against next week's state elections.
