The funeral was taking place today at The Guards Chapel at Wellington Barracks of the most senior of five British soldiers killed by an Afghan policeman.
Warrant Officer Class 1 Darren Chant, 40, who was born in Walthamstow, was killed when the policeman turned his gun on them as they drank tea.
He left his pregnant widow, Nausheen Chant, above, and three children from a previous marriage.
