16 Dec 2009

An urgent hunt was under way today for a teacher who disappeared after an evening out.

Geraldine Teasdale, 54, a married mother of two grown-up children, had been at a social event in Twickenham town centre.

She went back to her home in Teddington to get changed before heading out again in the early hours of Saturday.

She is about 5ft 1in and slim with blue eyes. Her husband Nigel, 53, declined to comment at the family home last night.

If there's anyone out there who can help, please do. Ms. Teasdale was my teacher last year. She has a family, who love her. A school of over 1,000 children and more than 50 colleagues who are worried about her.

If you see her please help! We all miss her in Teddington
