Seven in court over £65m 'boiler room' scam
19 Mar 2010Seven people will appear in court today accused of involvement in a "boiler room" share-trading scam.
Investors are believed to have lost more than £65 million, according to the Serious Fraud Office.
Daniel Gooding, 35, of Brentwood, Essex, Shaun Rumsey, 29, of Dunmow, Essex, Jon Emery, 32, of Romford, Philip Morris, 34, of Biddenden, Kent, Ian Hughes, 30, from Cardiff, Emma Farmer, 37, and Michelle Coleman, 58, both of Brentwood, are charged with conspiring to defraud.
They will appear at City of London magistrates' court.
