An elderly man found dead at a house received a fatal stab wound to the heart, police have said.

The 75-year-old was found at a residential property in Effingham, Surrey, in the early hours of Saturday.

A 67-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of murder remained in custody, Surrey Police said.

Detectives were not looking for anyone else in connection with the death, a force spokeswoman said.
