Manchester City FC

Manchester City FC is an English professional football club, founded in 1880 by St. Marks Church. Manchester City FC is based at the City of Manchester Stadium in East Manchester (Eastlands) after the move from Maine Road in 2003 which had been its home for 80 years. Manchester City has enjoyed success throughout their history winning the League Cup twice, two League titles, the European Cup Winner’s Cup, and the The FA Cup four times. The club’s current Abu Dhabi ownership has turned it into a major financial force in world football, shown by the record breaking purchase of Robinho from Real Madrid in 2008 for £32.5m.
