Fabio Capello

Fabio Capello is the current England national team manager. As a player he was an able central midfielder who played for SPAL Ferrara, Roma, Juventus and AC Milan. He also made history by scoring against England at Wembley in 1973 as it was the first time Italy had beaten England away. As a manager he has won the league at every club he has ever coached. At Milan he won the title in his first season in 1991/2, the first of three successive titles and four in five years. He also led Milan to three European Cup finals in three years, losing 1-0 in two of them but beating Barcelona 4-0 in 1995. He then moved to Real Madrid in 1996 where he won the league. He then returned to Milan for a spell before moving to Roma where he won the league in 2001. However, he then moved to Juventus where he won two more league title before leaving for Real Madrid again in 2006 after a match-fixing scandal. At Real Madrid he won another title but was also fired for his defensive tactics. He was then appointed England manager to replace Steve McClaren and helped England to qualify for the 2010 World Cup after 8 wins in the first 8 matches.
