James Cameron is a film producer, director and screenwriter. He is a self taught expert in special effects, dropping out of a philosophy course to screenwrite. James Cameron started out making low budget films, then was hired as the special effects director for Piranha. He went on to write and direct Terminator, which catapulted him to success. After Terminator became such a success, he wrote Rambo: First Blood Part II and was then invited to direct for ‘Aliens’. He also directed Titanic, which became the highest grossing film of all time and 3d science fiction epic Avatar.
