Comedian Russell Brand is probably most well-known for presenting, but has acted in films such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and St Trinans. He has also performed stand up comedy, winning him awards such as Time Out’s Best Stand up of the Year 2006, a Lafta award and a British Comedy Award. Russell Brand featured in the 2006 Secret Policeman’s Ball, and presented the NME Awards in the same year. In 2007 he hosted the Brit awards, with Fearne Cotton interviewing the winners back stage. In 2008 he was forced to quit his BBC Radio 2 show after making lewd phone calls with Jonathan Ross to Andrew Sachs.
