Blackburn Rovers FC

Blackburn Rovers based in Blackburn, Lancashire, is an English professional football club that currently plays in the Premier League. Founded in 1875 the team moved to Ewood Park in 1890 where it has remained. Blackburn’s main successes came in the first 50 years of the club’s history when they won the FA Cup 6 times. Apart from this the other main success was winning the Premier League in 1995. Blackburn has a few rivals, namely Burnley, Bolton Wanderers and Manchester United. The Manchester United rivalry became particularly fierce in the early 90s when the two sides were competing for the Premier League title.
