Everton FC

Everton FC is an English professional football team based in Liverpool. The club plays at Goodison Park, its 40,157 seater stadium and has its closest rivalry with Liverpool FC. The team was formed in 1878 as ST. Domingo FC and was renamed as Everton FC in 1879. The club currently competes in the Premier League and have been there since its creation in 1992. Everton have enjoyed success during their history, winning the First Division nine times, before the creation of the Premier League, as well as winning the FA Cup 5 times.
