Harry Redknapp is an English football manager (and former player) who currently manages Tottenham Hotspur following the sacking of Juande Ramos in 2008. Redknapp came to Tottenham having had previous coaching experience at AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United, Portsmouth (twice), and Southampton. As of July 2009, Redknapp has won only one major trophy as a manager (or player), when he managed Portsmouth to win the FA Cup in 2008. As a player, Redknapp played for West Ham FC, Bournemouth, Brentford, the Seattle Sounders, and Bournemouth for a second time.

As well as the FA Cup in 2008, Redknapp led Portsmouth to be Division One Champions in 2002/2003, as well as winning the Premier League Asia trophy in 2007
Redknapp has a son, Jamie, who played under his father’s management at Bournemouth and Southampton
Growing up, Redknapp was a fan of Arsenal, however, when he was appointed manager of Tottenham (major rivals of Arsenal), Redknapp stressed his loyalty and connection to the club through appreciation for Tottenham’s history.
