Emmanuel Adebayor is a professional footballer from Togo, who was born in 1984 and is currently playing for Manchester City. He moved to Metz at the age of 15 before being signed by Monaco in 2003. He was signed by Arsenal for £7 million in 2006 making his debut on the 4th February against Birmingham where he scored in a 2-0 victory. In an Arsenal career that lasted just over 3 years he featured 104 times scoring 46 goals. Despite finding the net 16 times during the 2008/09 season, he was strongly criticised by Arsenal fans after being linked with AC Milan and Barcelona. In the summer of 2009 he moved to Manchester City and was labeled as a money-grabber by Arsenal’s fans. The bad blood between Adebayor and Arsenal fans reached a peak when the Gunners travelled to Eastlands in September 2009. In the match Adebayor appeared to stamp on
