Bolton Wanderers FC

Bolton Wanderers is an English professional football team currently playing in the Premier League. The team was founded in 1874 as Christ Church FC and was renamed Bolton Wanderers in 1877. The club’s stadium is the Reebok Stadium in Horwich in Greater Manchester. The stadium itself was opened in 1997 with a 28,101 seating capacity. ‘The Trotters,’ as they are known, began their second spell in the Premier League in 2001 and had a Carling Cup run in 2004 in which they ended as runners-up to Middlesbrough.
