Andy Johnson is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a striker for Fulham FC. Johnson began his career at Birmingham but grabbed attention when he moved to Crystal Palace in 2002 and averaged more than a goal every two games. Palace were promoted in 2004 and the following season he finished as the top English scorer in the Premier League. He then signed for Everton in May 2006 were he became an important first team player. In the summer of 2008 he joined Fulham FC and became a fan favourite very quickly. Johnson has had his career blighted by injury and this has held him back slightly from fulfilling the potential his initial Crystal Palace form promised.
