Damien Duff

Damian Duff is an Irish professional footballer. He began his career in Ireland before moving Blackburn Rovers FC where he made his debut at the age of 18. He made over 180 appearances for Blackburn before he moved to Chelsea in 2003 for the club’s then record transfer of £17 million pounds. Despite having an injury afflicted start to his time at the club he played an important role before moving on to Newcastle in 2006. Here he was a crucial player for the club but was the side was eventually relegated in 2009. He was offered a route back to Premier League football instantly by Fulham who signed him that summer. Duff scored his first goal for the club against Everton in a 2-1 win at Craven Cottage.
